SIG2009 On the Move
For the first time the Special Interest Group (SIG) seminar is on the move. Travelling to eight cities across Australia and New Zealand, the one-day seminar is designed to encourage and advance the active exchange of ideas and information between sonographers and other health professionals.
The seminars will consist of lecture-style sessions from skilled presenters, focussing on ‘How to identify and manage a high risk patient’. There will be two streams featured – O&G and vascular sonography.
Each of the seminars will be held in a hotel in a convenient location. A Trade Lounge will be featured in each of the venues, showcasing products and services. The Networking Function at the end of the day will give you the opportunity to discuss the outcomes of the seminar, talk with presenters and network with other sonographers.
About the Australian Sonographers Association
The Australian Sonographers Association (ASA) is the peak body and leading voice for sonographers. The ASA was formed in 1992 in response to the desire of sonographers across Australia for an organisation which had as its charter, to exclusively consider the issues confronting and challenging sonographers in the modern environment. The ASA currently has a membership of over 2,500 of which almost all are sonographers. The ASA has over 30 corporate members, of which their support is greatly valued.
