‘Snapshot of sonography’ – survey coming soon

The ASA is the only Australian organisation dedicated to protecting and advancing the interests of all sonographers.  Your participation in this important project will ensure the ASA can inform members of workplace trends while also providing valuable information to ensure the ASA can continue to lobby government, educators and regulators on your behalf.  Keep an eye out for the online survey in June and assist us in working towards a sustainable future for all sonographers.

The Competency Framework for Sonographers – deadline for feedback extended

The ASA thanks all those sonographers who have submitted comments on the consultation draft of The Competency Framework for Diagnostic Medical Sonographers – your input is most valuable.  We did however receive requests for extension to the original deadline and therefore welcome further feedback submitted on or before Friday 25 June.  Printed copies are available on request – enquiries should be addressed to Elaine Trevaskis – CEO or  p: 03 9585 2996.
