Venue

The Adelaide Convention Centre is located on North Terrace adjacent to the picturesque River Torrens and parklands. It is in within walking distance of the city’s major hotels, restaurants and retail districts.

Getting there

Adelaide is serviced by regular flights from all Australian capital cities and some regional destinations. Flying time from Sydney to Adelaide is just under two hours, from Melbourne to Adelaide approximately 50 minutes. Transfers

The venue is located approximately 15 minutes drive ($15 taxi fare) from Adelaide Airport.

Parking

The Adelaide Convention Centre operates both the Riverbank and North Terrace car parks, which are open 24 hours/day, 7 days a week. The car parks are situated under the Convention Centre (Riverbank) and beneath the Exhibition Hall. In total, 1250 spaces are available and provide easy access to the Adelaide Convention Centre, Exhibition Hall and Adelaide Plaza. Early bird parking rate of $9.00 available provided entry is between 5.00am and 9.30am and exit by 6.30pm, otherwise hourly rates apply.

Accommodation

Delegates must book directly with the hotel of their choice by downloading a booking form from the ASA2009 Adelaide website or using the booking reference provided. The ASA have negotiated a special conference rate directly with the hotels listed below. We strongly recommend that delegates book their accommodation early, as these hotels will fill quickly.

Refund policy

A full refund (less $100 administration fee) will be granted if written notification is received on or before 31 March 2009. A 50% refund will be granted if written notification is received on or before 30 April 2009. From 1 May 2009 no refunds will be granted.
